I did it! I did it!

I am so pleased with myself! I thought I couldnt do it, but after help from my friends and their links, I thought I would plunge and try to make one. I was most worried about damaging the cross stitched panel, but all went well. The "sit and knit" is a design by Barbara Ana and is the pocket of the tote. I made it small, but hope to try a large tote with a Christmas design from Lizzie Kate.

Santa Angel

A little surprise for my friend Kazu, She has been helping me with my Japanese and wanted to show her my appreciation with a small gift. Its a HeartStrings/The artists Collection design from The JC ornament issue this year. I used 28 count Monet blue linen and DMC and Kreinik threads, with gorgeous and cute little buttons by JABC. I wish I could take better pictures as the design is so lovely and the black cross stitches don't show so patchy as it does through the Digital camera.

I have been tagged!

I have been tagged by Theresa to share 6 things about myself!

The rules are as follows:

1. Link to the person who tagged you.

2. Post the rules on your blog.

3. Write six random things about yourself.

4. Tag six people at the end of your post.

5. Let each person know that they have been tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.

6. Let the tagger know your entry is up.

Here are my six random things:

1. I hate the feeling of flour, cornflour and powders in general , they send shivers up my spine and even typing this has done it!

2. Autumn and rain rule! I love the crisp clean air of autumn and the leaves blustering in the sky or on the ground in circles.

3. When I swim in the sea, I dont like to come out of the water, just as I did when I was a little girl.

4.I love to learn languages, I speak Greek , French, Spanish and now I am trying Japanese.

5. I am a big fan of Lost, Star Trek and documentaries.

6. Pandas and Chihuahuas are my favorite animals.

Sit and Knit

I finished this fun project from Barbara Ana Designs. I want to make it into a tote to carry knitting needles and wool , however I don't have a clue on how to make one. If anyone has a great link , please leave a comment below.
I used fuzzy thread , that I brushed to fluff out, it sparkles too :) The other threads are DMC variations and anchor multicolour.

Autumn pantry

Just finished another challenge from bbinteractive this was the autumn pantry. I decided to put these together into a cube, as I know there will be winter and spring to come. I wanted to make the corn with beads but didnt have the right colours so did the jars instead.
